About the Artists
Nancy Mimms Hartsfield, a former department head who taught in Auburn University's art department for 35 years, contributes a diverse collection of paintings ranging from realism to abstraction. Hartsfield currently paints from her home studio in Montgomery, and her work is featured at Stonehenge Gallery.
Catie Radney, an abstract painter and University of Alabama graduate, studied under Auburn artist Hugh Williams. Her large figurative works are among those exhibited. Radney paints and operates her business from her studio in Alexander City.
Susan Harmon recently relocated to Alabama and teaches at Chattahoochee Valley College in Phenix City. An expressionist painter, Harmon brings a vibrant collection of mixed media works with a strong exhibition record in juried and solo shows.
June Corley, a former advertising art director and graphic artist in Boston, now resides in Loachapoka. Her whimsical sculptural creations — crafted from vintage signage letters, letterpress type and found objects — are both playful and visually engaging.
